ABOUT AIM TO HELP

ABOUT AIM TO HELP LLC

FRIENDSHIPS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

In 2018, two passions converged — a healthy sporting clay obsession and an unwavering desire to help others.
From that Aim to Help was born.

Founded by Fort Collins businessman Ron Weinmeister and his friends, the Butters, the Langs, the Rices and many others, Aim to Help was created to help others. With this mission and the relentless support of friends and many northern Colorado businesses, the first Aim to Help Sporting Clay and Pistol Shooting event was created to support The Crawford Child Advocacy Center (then the Voices Carry CAC) and its mission to combat child abuse. In six years, the Aim to Help event has raised more than $450,000 in proceeds, benefitting the CCAC. Click here to learn more about the CCAC.

Now in its seventh year, we're excited to announce that we have officially formed an LLC to further help this cause and others!

We are pleased to introduce our founding LLC members, made up of a group of couples, friends and businesses that understand the greatest friendships have lasting impact.

ABOUT THE CRAWFORD CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER

WHERE BETTER BEGINS.

Accredited by the National Children's Alliance, The Crawford Child Advocacy Center works tirelessly to prevent child maltreatment — primarily physical and sexual abuse — and when abuse cannot be prevented, the CCAC provides forensic services to help support victims and their families.

FORENSICS

The Crawford Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, comfortable space to conduct specialized forensic interviews for children involved in current child abuse investigations.  The goal is to capture the harsh details once, and then the CCAC's Family Advocates can then begin working with the victims and their families to provide resources to being their next steps in healing.

PREVENTION

The Crawford Child Advocacy Center also offers child abuse prevention training. The CCAC provides an extensive K-5 curriculum to teach children about general safety rules and how to recognize, refuse and report unsafe and unwanted touches. We also provide a child abuse prevention programs to adults who want to learn to recognize and react responsibly to abuse.

  • The Crawford Child conducts roughly 300 forensic interviews a year and provides advocacy services to more than 800 non-offending caregivers and family members.
  • In 2022, the Department of Human Services received 2,400+ reports of child abuse and neglect in Larimer County alone.
